The Problem : Nature-Deficit Disorder

Children and adolescents in the United States are spending significantly less time playing and exploring outside. This decrease in outdoor activity can be linked to an epidemic rise in obesity, attention disorders and depression.

The Go Outside Solution

Go Outside will effect a positive change in the amount of time children spend participating in physical activity outdoors through education, providing resources for activities, and through programs that encourage children to increase the amount of time they spend outside.

The Go Outside Mission

Go Outside will promote an appreciation of the outdoors and healthy lifestyles in children through positive outdoor experiences, physical activity and education.
